1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
2 c. pecan halves
3 large eggs, beaten
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. sugar
3 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped (or I used 3/4 c. of milk chocolate chips)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cover bottom of pie crust with pecans. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and melted butter. Add corn syrup, sugar and chocolate. Stir together and pour mixture into pie shell. Place on cookie sheet and bake 10 mins. Lower oven temperature to 350 and bake for another 45 mins or until pie is set. Make sure when you stick a knife in the middle it isn't runny in the middle. Enjoy!
