2 c. Nabisco All Bran (or Fiberone)
2 c. boiling water
Mix and let stand
Mix:
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
Sift in another bowl
5 c. flour
5 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Add 1 quart of buttermilk to shortening/sugar mix. Add 4 c. Kellogs All Bran (or another bran cereal) to dry ingredients. Mix dry ingredients, buttermilk mixture, and bran mixture with water all together. Put into muffin tins. Bake 350 degrees for 20-25 mins. Dough can be stored in the refrigerator for 6 weeks.
