The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I made some of the best chocolate chip cookies ever. I couldn't get enough of these and when I found the recipe I found that it was just a tweaked version of the Nestle Toll House recipe. It is to be cooked in a 9x13 pan and made into bars or you can cut them into shapes like I did once they have been cooked. Anyway you do it they are amazing and a must try.

2 1/8 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 sticks of butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 c. of chocolate chips

Preheat oven at 325 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Beat butter, sugars and vanilla in another bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Place in a cake pan lined with wax paper or parchment paper and bake for 24-28 mins. Remove from and cool for 10 mins then remove the wax paper and cut into whatever shapes you want.
